Neurofield

Neurofield is a technology that uses ultra-low output pulsed electromagnetic field (pEMF).  pEMF provides the brain with information that the brain is then able to use to alter brainwaves.  Neurofield increases the brains ability to be flexible and adjust into patterns of more optimal functioning, i.e. increases wave activity where there are deficits.  pEMF works at an intensity that is much less than what energy a cell phone puts out and similar to what headphones put out.  pEMF may be widely unknown, but it has been around for decades and there have been thousands of clinical studies to prove its efficacy and safety. Neurofield’s output is over 10 million times weaker than medical stimulation devices and does not induce a current into the person or de-polarize the neurons.  Researchers are emphasizing the importance of brain connectivity.  The brain is comprised of multiple networks that are crucial to regional functioning.  A slight disruption in any one of these networks can result in major symptoms.

The NeuroField technology incorporates very low intensity, pulsed electromagnetic field (pEMF) stimulation, heart rate variability (HRV) and electroencephalography (EEG) all in one biofeedback system. The NeuroField X3000 is a four channel frequency generator that can generate pEMF frequencies from 0.31-300,000 Hz. The pEMF output ranges from 1-40 microtesla.. NeuroField low intensity pEMF is 10,000,000 times weaker than traditional rTMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) which was approved by the FDA in 2008 for the treatment of depression. The NeuroField QEEG system (Q20)  can be used with the NeuroField pEMF system (X3000) to measure EEG in between pEMF stimulation utilizing the real time z-score procedure in the NeuroField software platform.  In this way the Q20 is truely a versatile EEG amplifier that combines pEMF and z-score neurofeedback technologies to optimize EEG neurofeedback therapies. The Q20 has also been integrated in the NeuroGuide 19 channel LORETA and Surface neurofeedback z-score platform.  NeuroGuide is the database used at Reintegrative Health and has been use in research published in thousands of neurological peer review journals.

NeuroField was founded and invented by Nicholas Dogris, Ph.D. and Brad Wiitala, EE. NeuroField has evolved into the first pEMF device that measures physiological responses through EEG and HRV. Furthermore, NeuroField pEMF uses a referenced database,NeuroGuide, to guide the brain through the training process to achieve a normative state. As a result of these innovations, NeuroField brings the science of low intensity pEMF into the clinical setting.  NeuroField increases the brains ability to be flexible and adjust into patterns of more optimal functioning.  Brain researchers are now emphasizing the importance of the brain networks and how one area of the brain communicates with another area.  A slight disruption in any one of these networks can result in major sypmtoms.  Since the brain is comprised of multiple networks, that are crucial to regional functioning, the current brain research and the development of new treatment utilizing NeuroField technology are becoming an important part of our overall treatment approach.
